You are responsible for ensuring that your use of our services complies with the laws of your country of residence and that you act according to the professional standards as set by your department, hospital, healthcare institution and national standards.

How should I use Rad2Sare

Rad2Share is specifically designed to create anonymized images. The user can select images without patient information. 

Is Rad2Share compliant with the GDPR

When submitting images through the Rad2Share Client or our Webservices the User has to remove all personally identifying information or any other information that can be used to identify an individual. This ensures the anonymization of the images and as such are not regarded as personal data.

Who can use Rad2Share

The intended users of our services are healthcare professionals.

What about rare diseases

When in doubt, inform your patient and obtain consent. Also make a note in the (electronic) health record for future reference.

I want to anonymize carefully

When submitting images through the Rad2Share Client or our Webservices the User has to remove all personally identifying information or any other information that can be used to identify an individual. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

 

  • Names
  • Geographical locations
  • Dates related to an individual
  • Contact data
  • Social security or insurance numbers
  • Medical record numbers
  • Biometric date, like finger and voice prints
  • Full face photographic images and any comparable images
  • Identifiable scars, tattoos, piercings etc.
  • Any other unique identifying number, characteristic, or code.
